Maltese Fighters Dominate at THE ARENA PROMOTIONS' “UNDER SIEGE” Combat Night
21st June – Fortini, Vittoriosa (Birgu), Malta – The fortress walls of Birgu once again echoed with the roar of combat as THE ARENA PROMOTIONS hosted another unforgettable fight night titled “UNDER SIEGE.” A total of 21 action-packed bouts lit up the evening, including 11 international clashes and 10 national matchups, showcasing top-tier talent from both Malta and abroad.
The event proved to be a night of national pride, as Maltese athletes claimed victory in 10 out of the 11 international bouts, an extraordinary display of strength, preparation, and heart. Adding to the glory, all 3 international title fights were won by local Maltese fighters, marking yet another milestone in the rise of Malta’s combat sports scene.
Promoter and matchmaker Simon Chetcuti expressed immense pride in the outcome:
“Once again, we matched our fighters fairly and on the same level, and the results speak for themselves. The bouts were highly competitive and thrilling to watch—real fights that left fans wanting more. We are incredibly thankful for the overwhelming positive feedback.”

The Malta Boxing Association is a non-profit organization which embraces local Boxing athletes, Boxing Gyms and Boxing Clubs.
Affiliated to the WBC & EBU, the MBA is responsible for the issue of licenses to boxers, clubs, officials, coaches and for the sanctioning of local boxing events which are held according to the MBA and EBU Rules & Regulations.
